BTN set to support brands at the Exhibition


Preparation is in full swing for brand owners to attract customers at the Sales exhibition organised by BrandTell Business Network (BTN Network).

The 2-day event themed ‘Sales Yakata: Santa Came Early’, will hold on November 26 and 27 at the National Stadium, Surulere

The initiative is in fulfilment of BrandTell Nigeria’s commitment to encouraging business owners to advance in their entrepreneurial adventure. This was obtained in an interview with the organization’s Team Lead, Adenike M Fagbemi.

She revealed that business owners will have a platform to connect better with prospects who will believe what they see at the exhibition.

She said, “I’ve had years of experience working with business owners, especially small-scale entrepreneurs and I can tell you for free that most of them don’t have a platform that can expose them to the wider world.”

“Thank God for social media though, but what about displaying your products to people out there so they can know you’re not giving them a ‘what I ordered vs what I got’ services?”

“This initiative is majorly to provide that platform at an affordable cost for them, network them to potential clients and help them build brand loyalty. Lastly, it is a chance to push them out of their comfort zone and make them come out of their shell. This way, they develop creative ways to market their sales exceptionally to passersby on their own”, she said.

She urged participating brands to maximise the limitless opportunities that the exhibition brings along their path as entrepreneurs. She also assured buyers that the sellers available at the event will offer top-notch quality at an affordable cost.

“Like every exhibition, participating brands will have a chance to network and connect with other brands they can collaborate with in the long run. They may be in the same industry, providing the same value, yet find a way to share ideas for the benefit of their brands.”

“Also, there will be an avalanche of clients coming to patronise them. The onus is on the participants to sell their brands, but we’re making it easy for them to do that. Buyers will also have a first-hand grasp of how credible these brands can be.

“The amount you pay per stall as a buyer can be earned back in multiple folds, and the brand connectivity that will expand to client loyalty is the ripple effect that might be hard to come across often”, she explained.

The BTN Network is a push group created for brand owners in Nigeria.

The online community, a brainchild of BrandTell Nigeria, has more than 350 members connected across diverse industries.

Fagbemi, a public relation strategist, also called on the government and other relevant stakeholders to create an enabling environment where low and medium-scale enterprises will thrive.

“One major factor pulling most Nigerians to migrate to other countries is that their economic policies are friendly, either to homegrown residents or sojourners in search of greener pastures.”

“Apart from policies, the government can make some strategic provisions that will encourage people with an entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in Nigeria. This is not just for the Nigerian government. Lots of factors come into play when cost implications are to be determined. When they’re looked into, better news that can boost the economy will surely spring up.”
