Ghana’s Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman has tested positive for COVID 19.
This has been disclosed by the country’s President Nana Akufo-Addo yesterday in broadcast while giving an update on the pandemic situation in the country.
In his words, “Let us wish our hardworking minister for health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, a speedy recovery from the virus, which he contracted in the line of duty.”
It is pertinent to also note that the health minister has been leading the public education on observing the disease prevention protocols.
With this recent development, the minister has become the latest Ghanaian government official to have tested positive for the virus.
