It has been five months since the mayhem which broke out in South Africa shortly after former president Jacob Zuma’s arrest. While many have laid the blame at his feet, and others at “normal” criminality, we still don’t really know what happened – and given the high levels of unemployment and despair, the country is ripe for round two.
