Teams like Wydad, Raja and Berkane (Morroco), Al Ahly, Zamalek and Pyramids (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns and Chiefs, Pirates (South Africa ), Mazembe, Vita (DR Congo), Hilal, Merrikh (Sudan), Simba (Tanzania) and Horoya (Guinea) are set to be the pioneer member.
