Super Eagles pacy winger, Moses Simon said the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire is the most difficult that he has played since making his debut.
Simon was voted the Man of the Match for his sublime performance for the Super Eagles in the game with Guinea-Bissau.
According to him, the team will keep fighting till the very end to make the nation proud at the AFCON.
“Generally, I will say it’s the most difficult AFCON I have played with. A lot of competition like the last one. You can expect anyone to win because it is the most difficult. We just need to win. It doesn’t matter who score or assist.”
Following the 2-0 win over Cameroon, the Super Eagles will now confront Angola’s Palancas Negras (victors of Namibia) in the quarter-finals on Friday. Venue is the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.
