Countries across Africa continue to scramble for the hosting right of the future African Cup of Nations.
African Soccer governing body on Thursday reopened the bidding process for the 2025 AFCON after Guinea was stripped of the host right.
Interested countries have been given until December 2022 to perfect their bids while the football body will announce the new host in February 2023.
The update coming from Kenya on Friday indicated that the country has concluded plans with Uganda and Tanzania to submit a joint bid for the 2027 edition of the competition.
Ivory Coast will host the tournament in 2024 but the competition will retain its name of AFCON 2023.
