AFL: Mamelodi Sundowns Gun Down Petro Luanda In Angola

The second game of the African Football League went down on Saturday evening and it was a sweet away win for the South African Premier League side Mamelodi Sundowns.

The competition kicked off on Friday with a 2-2 draw between Simba SC of Tanzania and Al Ahly of Egypt.

Sundown faced Petro Luanda of Angola in Luanda and recorded a comfortable 2-0 away win.

After a scoreless first half, it was Marcelo who broke the deadlock in the 67th minute before Maseko made it 2-0 in the 80th minute to make the game safe for Sundowns.

The second leg is slated for Johannesburg next week.

It will be the turn of Nigeria Premier League champions Enyimba International against Wydad Casablanca at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo.
