The performance of Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, continues to get attention across Europe as former Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge recommended him for Premier League clubs.
Boniface joined the German Bundesliga side this summer from the Belgian Jupiler League club Union St Gillaloise.
He has so far netted 7 goals in 10 matches for Leverkusen and has won the Rookie Player of the Month twice.
Sturridge mentioned Boniface and Guirassy of Guinea while speaking to Sky Sports on Tottenham, Chelsea Game.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher posed a question and Sturridge quickly answered him with the name of the Nigerian international.
“Are there any strikers out there, maybe in European football, that the Prem clubs should be looking at?”
Sturridge: “Guirassy, who’s 2nd in goalscoring charts in Germany and Boniface who’s at Leverkusen”, the conversation reads.
