Chukwueze Recovers, Set For AC Milan Vs Udinese Game

Samuel Chukwueze has recovered from injury and will be back this weekend for AC Milan against Udinese.

AC Milan coach, Stephan Pioli, received good news on Monday evening as the club medics confirmed the return date for the injured Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger.

Chukwueze sustained his injury while playing for Nigeria in an international friendly against Saudi Arabia.

The AC Milan medical department has officially confirmed that Chukwueze is expected to make his comeback in the weekend game against Udinese and will also be available for the UEFA Champions League match against PSG next week.

This recovery news is not only a welcome development for AC Milan but also holds considerable importance for Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro as he prepares his team for the 2026 World Cup qualifier against Lesotho and Zimbabwe.

Nigeria commence their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho on November 17, and the match will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
