Crystal Palace are holding talks with Nigeria-born Eberechi Eze over a new contract this week.
The attacking midfielder was the subject of interest from Tottenham and Manchester City in the summer.
However, Eze remained at Palace, and now the London club want to tie him down to a new deal.
Per the Evening Standard, the two parties are open to finding an agreement, even though it is not close.
Eze is still reluctant to fully commit to Palace for the coming seasons, as he wants to play European football.
Palace’s £70 million valuation of the attacker is what stopped him moving in the summer.
