FC Nantes Lament Moses Simon’s Absence

The manager of the French Ligue One side FC Nantes, Antoine Kombouare, has lamented the absence of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon.

Simon sustained an injury in an international friendly game between Nigeria and the Eagles of Mali in Marrakech, Morocco.

He had to undergo surgery and he has commenced his rehabilitation but will have to wait till next season before he can return to action.

“Moses Simon had a surgery in Nantes, we are sad for him because he wanted to come back and help the team.

That’s not the case now and we have to cope without him.

The idea is that he will be ready for next season and is in the recovery session.

” He was able to resume racing with the surgeon approval but there is strict protocol to follow”, he said.
