Man United & Bruno Fernandes’ dismal record against the ‘big six’ highlighted following Chelsea draw

Manchester United faced off with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge a short time ago.

The Red Devils headed into the tie on a fine run of form both domestically and in Europe.

However, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea have also been pretty impressive of late, amid an eight-game unbeaten streak in all competitions heading into Sunday’s clash.

And, when all was said and done in London this evening, the two Premier League heavyweights cancelled each other out.

Chelsea probably had the better of the chances on the day, the most clear-cut of which saw Hakim Ziyech force a solid save out of David de Gea:

In truth, though, neither side was really able to secure proper control, with a draw probably just about a fair result.

On the back of this evening’s stalemate, meanwhile, some rather interesting stats have come to light, highlighting Manchester United and Bruno Fernandes’ pretty dismal recent record against the traditional Premier League ‘big six’.

First, it was revealed that the Red Devils have failed to score a single goal across their last six league meetings with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham:

As for Fernandes, the Portuguese has now scored just one goal, as well as providing zero assists, in seven league ties against the ‘big six’ this season:
