Shooting Stars now occupied 6th position on the current standings after matchday 10. No doubt, the club have moved beyond the relegation zone at the ongoing Nigeria Profess Football League season following a convincing and superb 4-0 win over struggling Heartland FC of Owerri, but Edith Agoye says his side can still improve.

Kolawole Daniel opened the score sheet for the Oluyole Warriors at the 52nd minute after a goalless first half. A opener that fans have been expecting after many wasted scoring chances.
Edith Agoye’s double substitutions paid off again, as it were against Kwara United. Ayo Adejubu and Malomo Taofeek came off the bench as replacement for Wasiu Alalade and Kolawole Daniel respectively at the 63rd minute of action. It only took Malomo Taofeek 14th minute of play to double the tally for the homers after a solo effort went into the net of the Naze Millionaires.

Ayo Adejubu made it three for the Oluyole Warriors at the 86minutes after a defensive error from Heartland FC defender. Nafiu Raheem registered his name on the score sheet as the Warriors extended their winning streak to three.
Speaking to newsmen at the post match conference, Edith Agoye says his squad deserve great credit for the way they managed to adapt to his new system, pressure, and turn things around.

“There is no secret other than hardwork, hardwork and hardwork and the believe of the players that they could turn things around. They did it against Kwara United with the last minute goal, that was the turning around we needed. In Lagos, they repeated the same feat against MFM; And today, the players marked themselves present on the field of play.”

Shooting Stars have now recorded three wins in last three matches, and also earned 15points after ten matches, responding to newsmen on the team performance. Agoye replied:
“We are very happy that we are winning games, we’ve been playing well ever since but unfortunately we didn’t take our chances and this has contributed to us losing games but now we’ve been converting chances and players kept it tight as well, it is difficult for opponent to score. This has been the tonic we needed and we got it.”

Shooting Stars next league match is against Remo stars at the stars stadium. Remo stars under Shooting Stars former handler, Gbenga Ogunbote are currently unbeaten in the league in ten matches with 22points and occupied second position. With the win over Heartland FC today, Shooting Stars are now on sixth position on the Nigeria Professional Football League standings.
