Pep Guardiola has, on Tuesday, provided a fresh Manchester City fitness update.
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Man City
City will return to Champions League action on Wednesday evening.
The Sky Blues of course dominated their group, notching five wins and one draw whilst conceding just a solitary goal.
As for Gladbach, their group-stage experience proved more of a mixed bag, with the German outfit having only secured second place in Group B due to goal difference.

The Bundesliga outfit’s domestic form has also taken something of a nosedive of late.
In their last five league outings, Gladbach have notched just one win.
City, on the other hand, are on an 18-game winning run across all competitions, and of course the clear favourites for Wednesday’s game.

Pep Guardiola provides Man City fitness update
Ahead of his side’s return to the European stage, meanwhile, Pep Guardiola held his latest pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
The Spaniard discussed a number of topics during the presser, including the latest on his squad’s fitness.
And, for the most part, the news proved of a positive nature for the Citizens, with Guardiola having confirmed that all of his players, apart from Nathan Ake, are fit:
“Everyone except Nathan is fit.
Guardiola added:
“Right now I am thinking about team selection. I am not clear because I need to see how the players recover and feel. We will decide tomorrow.”
