Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Ugochukwu Oliseh, has rated Qatar 2022 as the best Africa World Cup ever.
The Technical Study Group (Technical Study Group) of FIFA in this 2022 World Cup held a press briefing to analyze the performance of the teams in this 22nd edition of the World Cup which takes place in Qatar.
Oliseh who was part of the study group said he was impressed by the performance of African teams in this tournament.
“There is no doubt it is the best tournament that Africa has participated in, with Morocco which reached the semi-finals but also Senegal which managed to pass the group stage, without his best player.
“It’s the best tournament Africa has ever seen. Not only that for the first time we saw an African and Arab team reaching the semi-finals, but also because each African team entered won at least one match.
Senegal managed to qualify for the second round without their best player and playing very well”, he stated.
