Information on Friday report of iDiski Times of South Africa has informed that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has shortlisted Pitso Mosimane as one of the leading coaches to replace Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro.

The Portuguese is set to have a pay-cut in a bid of extending his stay as Super Eagles Head Coach, as his contract expires in June.

Pitso is lined up for the job following his legendary success at Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly with three CAF Champions League titles, as well as his latest accolade of winning promotion with Al-Ahli Saudi FC, Pitso Mosimane is good enough to coach the three-time African champions.

“Pitso Mosimane is among five coaches being considered to replace Jose Peseiro as Nigeria coach, according to reports,” Unplayable reported

“The Al Ahli coach is also on the wishlist of Tunisian club, Esperance,” the report added.

Meanwhile, the Kagiso-born coach could leave Saudi-FC.

After suffering three straight defeats since securing promotion to the top division, Mosimane’s stock has apparently fallen with Saudi’s bosses.

According to a new report by iDiskiTimes’ Lorenz Kohler, the club are considering other managers, including Max Allegri.

“What I know of, the lawyer of Allegri was contacted by the club, Ahli and trying to bring Allegri to Saudi Arabia and Al Nassr are also interested in him,” a source told iDiski Times.
