U17 AFCON:Hon Okeowo Sponsors Nigeria Mascot To Support Golden Eaglets in Algiers


The Chairman of the Ifelodun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Mayor Femi Okeowo has sponsored Kuku Nigeria Mascot Supporters Club to the ongoing CAF U17 Cup of Nations in Algeria, as a show of support for the Golden Eaglets.

Delegates of the Ifelodun LCDA attended the event which took place at the Legislative Chamber hall on Wednesday, amongst whom is a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, and another from the House of Representatives, alongside ex-international players.

It was gathered that the names of the delegates that were in attendance as follows; Hon Kola Taiwo, Memeber House of Representatives, Hon Lukumon Olumoh, Memeber Lagos State House of Assembly, Edema Benson, Ex-internation, Tunde Disu, Ex-international, Austin Popo, Ex-International player and Ganiyu Ajide, Ex-International.

The Golden Eaglets will face the Amajimbos of South Africa on Saturday in a make-or-break encounter for the second quarterfinal ticket from Group B after Morocco already sealed their progress with two wins from two games.

Having supporters cheer the Golden Eaglets to victory and progress, cannot be overemphasized, with records and captures of Nigerian Supporters Clubs and the glories they ignited in favor of Nigeria’s national teams.
